A representative of the UrSPI is improving his skills at the prestigious Cambridge University in the UK.
Currently, an international advanced training program organized by the prestigious Cambridge University in the UK as part of improving the system of training pedagogical personnel is underway.
The head of the International Cooperation Department of the Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, Jaloladdin Sa'dullayev, is also participating in this program.
During the course, participants are exchanging knowledge and experience in the following areas:
— “Views of an effective lesson” - about the appearance of an ideal lesson, teacher qualifications, student activity and effective pedagogical practices;
— “International quality standards in teacher training” - best practices of teacher training systems in different countries;
— “Teacher training and professional development at the Faculty of Education” - the PGCE (Pedagogical Qualification Certificate) model of the University of Cambridge, a mentoring and cooperation system;
— “Specialist Subjects Lesson Observation” – observing PGCE students in mathematics, studying active teaching methods, resource selection and assessment approaches.
The second week of the program includes working with national curricula, training in developing independent learning skills, and visits to educational institutions such as Cambridge Maths School and Comberton Village College.
