This year, the amount of the differentiated tuition fee will be determined by the rectors (directors) of higher education institutions
According to the decision of the State Commission (link), for the 2025/2026 academic year, a new procedure is being introduced in which rectors (directors) of universities will independently determine the differentiated tuition fee for additional undergraduate admissions of applicants who scored 56.7 or higher but were not recommended for enrollment.
➖ For applicants who missed the admission threshold by up to 4.05 points, the differentiated tuition fees will be set based on the requirements of clause 73 of Annex 1 of the Regulation approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 578 dated September 13, 2025 (document link);
➖ For applicants who missed the threshold by more than 4.05 points, the amount of the differentiated tuition fee will be determined by university rectors (directors) at no less than three times the base tuition fee.
All higher education institutions will approve and publish the minimum differentiated tuition fees for each undergraduate program and form of study for the 2025/2026 academic year by September 25, 2025, on their official websites.
Applicants who express a desire to study on a differentiated tuition basis will be allowed to pay 50% of the annual tuition fee by October 31, 2025 (inclusive).
In addition, applicants who participated in the entrance exam competition and were recommended for admission under their second to fifth undergraduate program choices, either on a state grant or paid basis, will be allowed, upon their own request, to study under the first-choice program on a differentiated tuition basis (excluding those admitted under targeted admission quotas).
