Rector’s Meetings with Parents Continue

As you may know, the Rector of Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Feruza Madraximova, is meeting with students’ parents across different faculties. Today, the rector met with the parents of students from the Faculty of Primary Education.

At the beginning of the meeting, the rector highlighted the government’s current focus on higher education and the ongoing reforms, emphasizing that all opportunities and conditions are created for the benefit of young people. She also stressed the importance of collaboration between the university and parents in the institute’s educational and disciplinary activities.

During the meeting, discussions were held on various topics, including education quality, procedures for contacting the newly established “Registrar Office,” criteria for talented students, student participation in prestigious international, national, and regional competitions, living conditions in rented apartments and dormitories, and the organization of additional extracurricular clubs. Suggestions and recommendations were heard, and parents received detailed answers to their questions.

Additionally, parents had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the facilities available to students at the institute, including classrooms, the information resource center, the sports hall, lecture observation rooms, and the cafeteria.

The rector is also scheduled to meet with the parents of students from the Faculty of Pedagogy and the Faculty of Exact and Applied Sciences.
