A SOLEMN CEREMONY DEDICATED TO THE OPENING OF THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR WAS HELD AT UrSPI.

A solemn ceremony dedicated to the opening of the new academic year was held at UrSPI

Today, on September 3, opening ceremonies of the new 2025–2026 academic year are being held across all higher education institutions of our republic. In particular, at Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, a festive event was held under the motto “For the Motherland, for the Nation, for the People” with the participation of first-year students.

The event was opened by the rector of the institute, Professor Feruza Madraximova. The ceremony was also addressed by Deputy Governor of the region Nigora Kutlimurodova, Head of the Khorezm Regional Department of Preschool and School Education Khamro Bektemirov, Head of the Khorezm Regional Branch of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment Bekzod Abdirimov, and Chairman of the Khorezm Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan Farrukh Otajonov.

During the ceremony, opinions were expressed about the attention being paid in our country today to youth, education, and science, as well as the importance of making effective use of these opportunities. For first-year students, a “Student Oath” ceremony was held, and national melodies and songs were performed by students of the Music Education program.
