An “Independence Lesson” was held across all faculties of Urgench State Pedagogical Institute.
Following the ceremonial event, “Independence Lessons” were conducted with the participation of honored guests and the institute’s experienced professors and lecturers, including: Head of the Khorezm Regional Branch of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment Bekzod Abdirimov; Hero of Uzbekistan Egambergan Karimov; Head of the Department for Organizational Personnel and Coordination of Primary Organizations at the Khorezm Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan Gulmira Kazakova; UrSU (Urgench State University) Associate Professor and Biruni scholar Allayor Avezmuratov; member of the Khorezm Regional Branch of the Writers’ Union Rahimboy Otaboyev; as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences Hikmat Matyaqubov, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences Zafar Karimov, and the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy G‘ayrat Raximov.
During the lessons, speakers reflected on the historical essence of independence, our forefathers who struggled for it and dreamed of living in a free and prosperous homeland, and the difficulties encountered on the path to achieving independence.
It was also emphasized that, in a historically short period since independence, our country has achieved significant progress, with ongoing reforms yielding tangible results and historic outcomes. Detailed answers were provided to students’ questions.
