THE UrSPI HAS LAUNCHED THE "FIVE INITIATIVES OLYMPIAD" AND THE "OLYMPIC PEAKS OF NEW UZBEKISTAN" SPORTS COMPETITIONS.

At Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, the “Five Initiatives Olympiad” and “Olympic Peaks of New Uzbekistan” sports competitions have officially begun.

Today, the opening ceremony of the “Five Initiatives Olympiad” and “Olympic Peaks of New Uzbekistan” sports competitions was held at Urgench State Pedagogical Institute with the participation of Okhtam Matnazarov, Head of the Department of Physical Culture, and Sanjar Muratov, Deputy Head of the Institute’s Sports Club.

As part of the “Five Initiatives Olympiad,” competitions in mini-football, volleyball, streetball, table tennis, and athletics will be held at the faculty, institute, regional, and national levels.

The “Olympic Peaks of New Uzbekistan” competition will take place in two seasons:

• Autumn season: mini-football, volleyball, table tennis, athletics

• Spring season: basketball, badminton, chess, kurash, handball, rugby, water polo, and field hockey
