UrSPI Students as Part of the Uzbekistan Women’s Rugby-7 Team — Asian Champions!

The Asian Championship among adult teams was held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Urgench State Pedagogical Institute students of the Physical Education Department, group 253 — Feruza Yangiboyeva and Gulrukh Ruzmatova — proudly represented our country as part of the Uzbekistan women’s national rugby-7 team.

The championship was organized to earn ranking points for the XXXIV Summer Olympic Games “Los Angeles–2028,” and our national team achieved an important victory on this path.

We sincerely congratulate our student athletes on their success at the Asian Championship! We are proud of you!
