“Young Reader” Contest at UrSPI Held at the Institute Level!
Yesterday, the institute-level stage of the “Young Reader” contest was held at the Urganch State Pedagogical Institute. Students of Uzbek, Turkmen, and Karakalpak backgrounds actively participated, demonstrating their interest in reading and their literary thinking skills.
The contest was organized under the supervision of professors and lecturers of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology. Participants were tested on their knowledge of the famous writer Ulug‘bek Hamdam’s work “Ota”.
The purpose of the contest is to promote a culture of reading among youth, develop skills in analyzing literary works, and broaden their thinking through reading.
At the end of the contest, the winning teams were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts by the institute.
