THE 216TH ANNIVERSARY OF OGAHIY’S BIRTH WAS CELEBRATED.

The 216th anniversary of Ogahiy’s birth was celebrated.

At Urganch State Pedagogical Institute, a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the 216th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker, historian, and translator Muhammad Rizo Erniyozbek oglu Ogahiy was organized on the initiative of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature.

The event highlighted Ogahiy’s rich literary and historical heritage, his translation activities, and his contribution to the development of classical Uzbek literature. Students recited excerpts from his works and presented stage performances and a poetry recitation (mushaira).

The aim of the event was to honor the memory of great ancestors, widely promote their scholarly and literary legacy, and foster national pride and spiritual values among the younger generation.
