AT UrSPI, AN EVENT TITLED “A BRIGHT STAR IN THE SKY OF LITERATURE” WAS HELD DEDICATED TO THE 585TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF ALISHER NAVOI.

At UrSPI, a spiritual and educational event titled “A Bright Star in the Sky of Literature” was held to commemorate the 585th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi.

In honor of the 585th anniversary of the great thinker and sultan of words, Alisher Navoi, a spiritual and educational event entitled “A Bright Star in the Sky of Literature” took place at UrSPI.

The event was opened with an introductory speech by the Rector of UrSPI, Feruza Madraximova. In her address, she emphasized the invaluable significance of Alisher Navoi’s legacy for national spirituality, science, and the upbringing of youth.

Ikrombek Matkarimov, Director of the Training Course for Advanced Training of Employees of Citizens’ Self-Government Bodies under the Khorezm Regional Hokimiyat, and Umarbek Kho‘jamurodov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, also delivered speeches, sincerely congratulating everyone on this significant occasion.

During the event, the winners of the “Respect for Navoi” video contest aimed at widely promoting the creative heritage of our great ancestor were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts. Songs based on the poet’s verses and theatrical performances reflecting the ideas of humanism and kindness embodied in Alisher Navoi’s works were also presented.
