A meeting was held at UrSPI with writer and TV journalist Nazar Eshonqul, who was recognized as the “Writer of the Year.”
At Urganch State Pedagogical Institute, it is planned to organize creative meetings under the motto “A Reading Nation” with authors of works beloved by our people, as well as with foreign scholars who have conducted research on the history and culture of Turan and Turkestan.
The first guest of the project was Nazar Eshonqul. The writer spoke to students about the history of the creation of his works such as “Giryon,” “People of War,” “The Man Led by a Monkey,” and “Gorogly, or the Song of Life.”
During the meeting, participants also discussed the role of literature today, the responsibility of a writer, and ways to increase young people’s interest in reading.
The meeting, held in a sincere dialogue with students, was rich in engaging questions and answers, as well as creative exchanges of ideas.
