AN AUTOMATED INFORMATION RESOURCE CENTER CALLED "INFORMATION-LIBRARY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM" (ILMS), ONE OF THE MOST ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES IN THE COUNTRY, HAS BEEN INSTALLED AT THE URGENCH STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE'S INFORMATION RESOURCE CENTER TO AUTOMATE THE PROCESS OF BOOK BORROWING, SUBMISSION, AND LIBRARY USAGE!

The automated information resource center is fast, convenient and efficient!

Joining the automated information resource center is very easy! You come in, fill out a form and your information is entered into an electronic database. Information about when and for how long you borrowed a book, as well as all other library-related information, is always stored and alerts you when it's time to return a book or extend the deadline!

A printer that prints barcode labels for books, Xprinter XP-365B, has also been installed at the institute and now the library provides barcode labeled cards for your permanent use!

As a member, you simply select the desired book, scan the barcode on the book and the barcode on the library card with a specially designed laser barcode scanner to automatically check it out in seconds.
