UrSPI Student Becomes the Winner of the “Five Initiatives Paralympics”!

A ceremonial award ceremony for the winners of the republican final stage of the “Five Initiatives Paralympics” was held at the Olympic Village in the capital city.

It is worth noting that Marvarid Norimonova, a student of Urganch State Pedagogical Institute, achieved outstanding success at this Paralympics. Competing in the 100-meter sprint event in athletics, she outperformed all her opponents, secured the absolute victory, and became the proud owner of a gold medal.

This year, more than 105,000 young people with disabilities participated across the country. At the republican stage, which became a platform of great determination and willpower, 364 of the strongest athletes competed.

🏆 In the overall team standings, 1st place was awarded to the team of Tashkent region, 2nd place to Samarkand region, and 3rd place to Khorezm region.

Medals and valuable gifts were presented to 78 athletes who became winners and prize-winners. Most importantly, modern universal sports grounds will now be built in the neighborhoods where our champions live.
