UrSPI STUDENT WINS GOLD MEDAL AT AN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION HELD IN SOUTH KOREA

UrSPI Student Wins Gold Medal at an International Exhibition Held in South Korea

The Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition – KIWIE 2026 was organized by the Korea Women Inventors Association (KWIA) and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO).

Representing Uzbekistan among the country's selected outstanding women, based on the recommendation of the Committee on Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Malika Matkarimova, a student of the Faculty of Philology at Urganch State Pedagogical Institute and a recipient of the Islam Karimov State Scholarship, participated in the exhibition with her invention and was awarded the Gold Medal.

For information, more than 350 women scientists, inventors, and entrepreneurs from over 30 countries showcased their inventions and innovative developments at the exhibition, competing and exchanging experiences.
