THE ART OF BAKHSHI — THE CONTINUITY OF GENERATIONS

A round-table discussion was held at the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences of Urgench State Pedagogical Institute with the participation of students and renowned bakhshi, People’s Bakhshi of Uzbekistan, academician Yetmishvoy Abdullayev, son of Qurbonnazar Abdullayev, widely known as Bola Bakhshi, a respected master of the art and People’s Bakhshi of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, Master Yetmishvoy Abdullayev shared valuable information about the life and creative work of his father, Bola Bakhshi, the distinctive features of the art of bakhshi, as well as the traditions of this unique art that have been passed down from generation to generation.

The meeting, held in a warm and sincere atmosphere, provided the younger generation with important guidance on preserving and cherishing national values, studying oral folk traditions and the art of bakhshi in depth, continuously developing themselves, and striving towards noble goals.
