“ONE HOMELAND, ONE PEOPLE — WE ARE CREATING A NEW LIFE AND FUTURE!” — A CELEBRATION OF CREATIVITY AND SCIENCE AT UrSPI!

At Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a series of book-reading events, Independence lessons, and meetings with renowned and beloved representatives of literature and the arts are being held under the motto “35 Books for the 35th Anniversary.”

Today, with the participation of Gavhar Ibodullayeva, Head of the Khorezm Regional Branch of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, a presentation of “From Megapolis to the Peaks of the Himalayas,” a book by Eshqobil Shukur, one of the prominent figures of Uzbek poetry, was held. Independence lessons were also conducted with the participation of renowned and beloved representatives of the creative community.

The event was opened by Acting Rector of the Institute, Professor Diyorjon Abdullayev, who shared his views on the path of science and creativity and emphasized the important role of reading in the spiritual and intellectual development of young people.

During the meeting, participants discussed independence and the wide-ranging opportunities it provides, the importance of making effective use of these opportunities, as well as history and the present day. Excerpts from the author’s outstanding works were read, and participants exchanged views on his life and creative journey, artistic pursuits, and the lessons he has gained throughout his life.
