A CEREMONIAL EVENT DEDICATED TO THE OPENING OF THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR WAS HELD AT URGANCH STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE

Today, September 7, ceremonies dedicated to the opening of the new 2026–2027 academic year are being held at all higher education institutions across the country.

In particular, at Urganch State Pedagogical Institute, a ceremonial opening of the new academic year was held in a festive atmosphere with the participation of first-year students under the slogan “Together as One Homeland and One People, We Will Build a New Life and a New Future!”

The event was opened by Acting Rector of the Institute Diyorjon Abdullayev.

The event was also addressed by Bekzod Abdirimov, Head of the Khorezm Regional Department of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, and Dilbar Bekchanova, Head of the Khorezm Regional Branch of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan. They shared their views on the attention being paid to young people, the opportunities being created in the fields of education and science, and the importance of making effective use of these opportunities.

During the event, a “Student Oath” ceremony was held for first-year students.

In addition, national melodies and songs performed by students of the Music Education program added to the festive and uplifting atmosphere of the event.
