URGENCH STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE STUDENT WINS GOLD MEDAL IN INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Apart from Uzbekistan's national team, female boxers from Kazakhstan, Vietnam, and Tajikistan participated in the "Fergana region governor's cup" international tournament held in Fergana. In the 81 kg weight category, Oltinoy Sotimboyeva, a student of the 222nd group of the Pedagogy faculty of UrDPI, defeated all her opponents and won the gold medal.

At the end of the tournament, Uzbekistani female boxers won gold medals in 8 out of 12 weight categories.

Oltinoy Sotimboyeva's interest in boxing and her hard work during training have led to numerous achievements:

🥇 1st place in the Uzbekistan Boxing Championship held in Qarshi on June 18, 2021
🥉 3rd place in the Asia Boxing Championship held in Dubai on August 30, 2021
🥈 2nd place in the MDH Games held in Qozon on September 5-10, 2021
🥇 1st place in the Uzbekistan Cup held in Urgench on November 14-24, 2021
🥈 2nd place in the Asia Youth and Junior Boxing Championship held in Amman, Jordan on March 1-14, 2022 (81 kg weight category)
🥈 2nd place in the World Boxing Championship held in Spain in November 2022 (81 kg weight category)

Her achievements in sports have earned her admission to the prestigious Urgench State Pedagogical Institute, where she is currently studying among the institute's successful students.
