THE MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND INNOVATIONS INSPECTED THE CONSTRUCTION WORKS OF A 7-STORY STUDENT DORMITORY FOR 400 BEDS, WHICH IS BEING BUILT ON THE TERRITORY OF URGENCH STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE.

Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov during his visit to Urgench State Pedagogical Institute got acquainted with engineering works and construction of 7-storey student dormitory for 400 places, and also gave necessary recommendations on landscaping the territory around the building with decorative trees, flowers, to revive the spirit of "green space", as well as to organize comfortable and cozy dormitories of modern type for students. Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from September 9, 2021 № 563 "On measures to increase the level of coverage of students with dormitories in higher educational institutions of the country" provides for the acceleration of work on the construction of student dormitories.

 On the basis of this decree, a public-private partnership project has been prepared to build a student dormitory on the territory of the Urgench State Pedagogical Institute.

 It should be noted that the construction and equipping of the student dormitory building for 400 places under the PPP project will cost 26,000.0 million soums, which will save the state budget funds.

 The building of the student dormitory, consisting of 7 floors, looks modern and is erected in accordance with urban planning norms!
