AT URGENCH STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE, THE "HOLIDAY OF THE UZBEK LANGUAGE" WAS WIDELY CELEBRATED

Today, on October 21, a festive event entitled “May your value be high, my native language!“ was held at Urgench State Pedagogical Institute in connection with "The holiday of Uzbek language".

The festive celebration was opened by the rector of the Institute Firuza Madrakhimova. The Rector gave a comment on the history of our native language, stated its historical richness and the preservation of its value and purity in our days.

During the event, stage performances were presented that praised our mother tongue and embodied how beautiful it is. The figures of our ancestors and thinkers were embodied by our students, songs and poems were sung.

At the end of the event, the winners of the essay contest on the theme ”Language is the mirror of the nation", the contest of the best audio poems and videos held among the students of the Institute were awarded.
