A CHINESE PROFESSOR AT UrSPI DELIVERED A LECTURE ON TEACHING CHINESE AS A SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT THE INSTITUTE

Chinese professor delivers lecture at UrSPI on teaching Chinese as a second foreign language

 Today, on May 30, a lecture session was held at the Urgench State Pedagogical Institute by Professor Dong Guojun of Gansu Agricultural University of China for students of the Foreign Language and Literature (English) department of the Faculty of Philology and History.

During the session, relevant aspects of teaching Chinese as a second foreign language, effective approaches, and necessary and practical instructions for the formation of language skills were provided. Professor Dong Guojun also provided detailed information on integrated methods of teaching a foreign language.

Now, starting from the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year, Chinese will be taught as a second foreign language to students of the Foreign Language and Literature (English) department.
