A NATIONWIDE SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE TITLED “THE ROLE OF THE KHOREZM EPIC TRADITION SCHOOL IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF UZBEK FOLKLORE” WILL BE HELD AT UrSPI.

A nationwide scientific and practical conference titled “The Role of the Khorezm Epic Tradition School in the Development of Uzbek Folklore” will be held at Urganch State Pedagogical Institute (UrSPI).

On February 19, 2026, UrSPI will host a republican scientific and practical conference dedicated to the scholarly legacy of Safarboy Ro‘zimboyev, a versatile scholar who made a significant contribution to the study and development of Khorezm epic traditions, Honored Worker of Public Education of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor.

Leading scholars and researchers of the republic, professors and teachers of higher education institutions, independent researchers, and field specialists are expected to participate.
