ON FEBRUARY 9 OF THIS YEAR, A LITERARY AND ARTISTIC EVENT WAS ORGANIZED IN THE URGANCH STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE ON THE OCCASION OF THE 583RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF HAZRAT MIR ALISHER NAVOI, THE SULTAN OF MUSIC, UNDER THE THEME "WE WILL LIVE WITH THE MEMORIES OF NAVOI".
Feruza Madrakhimova, Rector of Urganch State Pedagogical Institute, Aylin Goztash, Professor of Ege University of Turkey, took part in the event. The event was opened by the rector with an introduction and an exposition on the life and artistic heritage of A. Navoi. During the event, the students of the Faculty of Philology and History presented performances dedicated to the life of Alisher Navoi, samples of his ghazals were brought to the attention of the event participants. Songs and dances based on Navoi's ghazals were performed.
