HISTORY OF THE FACULTY OF EXACT AND PRACTICAL SCIENCES

According to execution of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from June 21, 2022 "On measures on improvement of quality of pedagogical education and further development of activity of higher educational institutions on preparation of pedagogical staff", Urgench State Pedagogical Institute was established on the basis of Bachelor and Master degree in pedagogical education of Urgench State University. Faculty of exact and applied sciences was established in the institute.

The faculty is the structural content of the institution. Its activity is aimed at training students in the relevant educational directions and specialties, conducting educational processes organically and harmoniously, as well as coordinating the realization of research projects at the departments. The structural content of the Faculty includes the Faculty Council and the Teaching and Methodical Council. The Faculty is engaged in educational activities on the implementation of basic and additional educational programs of higher education. The Faculty has a seal with its name and other requisites.

LEARNING PROCESS AT THE FACULTY

At present 48 professors, including 1 professor, 3 candidates of sciences and associate professors, 7 senior lecturers and 37 assistants work at the faculty. The total number of students studying at the faculty is 1058, of which 706 students study at the full-time form of education, 337 students study at the part-time form of education, 15 students study at the part-time form of education (secondary higher education). The faculty trains specialists in 6 bachelor's degrees.

RESULTS ACHIEVED ON THE BASIS OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND SCIENTIFIC RELATIONS WITH FOREIGN COUNTRIES

To date, the faculty has established mutual scientific and practical cooperation with higher educational institutions of foreign countries, teachers participate in various projects. The faculty has established international relations with prestigious higher educational institutions of Germany, Czech Republic, China, Azerbaijan, Turkey and other countries.
