HISTORY AND MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT
“Organizational structure of the Urgench State Pedagogical Institute”, approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2022, and in accordance with the decision of the Institute Council dated September 6, 2022, the department of “Pedagogy, methods of primary and preschool education” was created
From the 2023-2024 academic year, the department received the name “Pedagogy”, the department was headed by Doctor of Philosophical Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Nafasov Daniyor Shernafasovich. Currently, in the 2024-2025 academic year, the department is headed by Shakhnoza Erkinbaevna Yakubova.
The main goal of the department: fulfilling the tasks set by the state and society for higher education, training and supplying qualified specialists in the field of pedagogy to the public education system, effectively using innovative information and pedagogical technologies of world education. educational and didactic support using interactive methods, creating a new generation of textbooks, improving mechanisms for the development of inclusive education, accelerating scientific research in the field of science, training highly qualified foreign specialists using advanced foreign experience within the framework of international cooperation, improving personnel training system, educating highly qualified specialists and talented students.
Main tasks of the department:
1. 60110100 – Pedagogy (teacher of additional education) in the field of education:
- education teacher of general secondary education in accordance with the professional standard of a general secondary school teacher;
- teacher of pedagogy of secondary special and vocational education;
- methodologist in ministries providing education, its sectoral departments and institutions;
- director of a secondary school, manager of an educational institution according to professional standards;
- training of bachelors engaged in such fields of activity as secondary schools, vocational educational institutions, laboratory assistants, office managers in higher educational institutions.

complex issues, such as teaching subjects related to specialization in all educational institutions, conducting scientific research, designing and managing the process in ministries providing education in relevant educational areas, their branches and institutions, consists of training masters
