About the Department of Uzbek and Russian Language Literature

The Department of Uzbek and Russian language literature started its activities in September 2023.

There are 1 associate professors and 5 assistant teachers, 1 basic doctoral student and 10 trainee teachers working in the department of Uzbek and Russian language literature.

History of the department

Department of Uzbek language and literature to the "Organizational structure of the Urganch State Pedagogical Institute" approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2022 and the Council of the Institute held on September 7, 2023 established in accordance with the decision.

Head of the department

Matkuliyeva Marguba Farkhodovna - doctor of philosophy in philology, associate professor. She is conducting scientific work on the first sources of the epic plot "Shahriyor", versions of epics and fairy tales. She has published about 20 scientific and scientific popular articles. The "Uzbek Folklore" study guide (Tashkent, 2023), the monograph "The early sources of the epic plot "Shahriyor", epic and fairy tale variants" was published. Since September 2023, she has been working as the head of the Department of Uzbek and Russian Language Literature.

 

Scientific works

During the 2022-2023 academic year, 6 educational manuals, 2 monographs, and 5 educational methodological manuals were published. More than 10 theses and articles were published in journals indexed in international scientific and technical databases, and about 20 in foreign journals, about 30 in scientific journals under the jurisdiction of HAC, and more than 15 theses and articles on the scale of the Republic.

 

Researchers

In the department in the 2023-2024 academic year 10.00.01 - Uzbek language, 10.00.02 - Uzbek literature, 13.00.02 - Educational theory and methodology , N. Yakubova, Z. Askarova, M. Ismagilova V. Kayumov, G. Sapayeva, S. Mukhammedova and G. Kadirova are conducting research.

Matquliyeva Marg‘uba Farxodovna  - Filologiya fanlari bo‘yicha falsafa doktori, dotsent. “Shahriyor” epik syujetining ilk manbalari, doston va ertak variantlari borasida ilmiy ishlarini olib bormoqda. Uning 20 ga yaqin ilmiy, ilmiy ommabop maqolalari chop etilgan. "O‘zbek folklori" o‘quv qo‘llanmasi (Toshkent, 2023), “Shahriyor” epik syujetining ilk manbalari, doston va ertak variantlari”  monografiyasi chop etilgan. 2023-yil sentabr oyidan O‘zbek va rus  tili adabiyoti kafedrasi mudiri lavozimida ishlab kelmoqda.
